Entertainment Community Fund (formerly Actors Fund)

The Entertainment Community Fund (formerly Actors Fund) is a national human services organization that helps performing arts and entertainment professionals in need with programs and services.

MPTF

MPTF supports the entertainment community in living and aging well, with dignity and purpose, and in helping each other in times of need.

The Artists Health Insurance Resource Center (AHIRC)

AHIRC provides comprehensive, unbiased, one-on-one health insurance counseling and enrollment services and educational seminars to members of the entertainment and performing arts community in the eastern region (including Illinois and Minnesota).

Entertainment Health Insurance Solutions (EHIS)

EHIS is a collaboration between MPTF and The Actors Fund. EHIS provides comprehensive, unbiased, one-on-one health insurance counseling and enrollment services and educational seminars to members of the entertainment and performing arts community in the Western Region (including California, Nevada and Arizona).

Samuel J. Friedman Health Center

The Samuel J. Friedman Health Center offers primary care, specialty care and preventive care in New York City, in partnership with Mount Sinai Doctors.

SAG-AFTRA

SAG-AFTRA represents approximately 160,000 actors, announcers, broadcast journalists, dancers, DJs, news writers, news editors, program hosts, puppeteers, recording artists, singers, stunt performers, voiceover artists and other media professionals, who are the faces and voices that entertain and inform America and the world.

SAG-AFTRA Foundation

The SAG-AFTRA Foundation provides vital assistance and educational programming to the professionals of SAG-AFTRA while serving the public at large through its signature children’s literacy programs.

Affordable Care Act (ACA)

The Affordable Care Act (ACA) was enacted in 2010 in order to make health care more affordable, accessible and of a higher quality.

Assistance for California Residents with HIV or AIDS

If you are a California resident living with HIV or AIDS and are uninsured or under-insured, you may be eligible for assistance to help cover costs for your medications through the AIDS Drugs Assistance Program (ADAP) ADAP pays the prescription costs for medication on the ADAP Formulary for eligible individuals.

Individuals enrolled in ADAP are also eligible for the Office of AIDS Health Insurance Premium Payment Program (OA-HIPP) or the Medicare Part D Premium Payment Program (MDPP).

Individuals enrolled in ADAP and who are enrolled in comprehensive health coverage offered through their employment, may be eligible for the Employer Based Health Insurance Premium Payment (EB-HIPP).
