I received the letter informing me that I qualified for the Premium Reimbursement Account (PRA) Plan. Why do I qualify for the PRA Plan?

You qualified for this benefit because:

  • You are a Senior Performer;
  • You are not eligible for the SAG-AFTRA Health Plan (Active Plan);
  • You are a participant in the existing SAG-AFTRA Health Plan Senior Performers Health Reimbursement Account Plan (Senior Performers HRA Plan); and
  • You had at least $28,933 in Covered Earnings, including residual and sessional earnings, during the Base Earnings Period of October 1, 2025 through September 30, 2026 (at least $1 in sessional earnings).

The PRA Plan is a benefit for qualified Senior Performers only (spouses are not eligible). Qualification is assessed annually for each calendar year, and unused funds do not roll over to the following Benefit Year.

Are spouses or Surviving Spouses eligible for the PRA Plan?

No. The PRA Plan is a benefit for qualified participants only. Spouses, Surviving Spouses, and dependents are not eligible.

How much money is available through the PRA Plan?

Qualified participants receive an annual allocation of $4,000 for the 2027 Benefit Year (January 1, 2027 through December 31, 2027). Reimbursements are made for eligible premium expenses up to your $4,000 annual allocation. Unused funds do not roll over to the following year.
