Overview

The SAG-AFTRA Health Plan Senior Performers HRA Plan (the HRA Plan) provides tax-free reimbursements to eligible Senior Performers and their Medicare-eligible spouses or Surviving Spouses for eligible out-of-pocket medical expenses and insurance premiums not covered by other health coverage. Eligible Senior Performers and their Medicare-eligible spouses or Surviving Spouses each receive an individual HRA allocation, subject to Plan rules.

For your initial enrollment year, you may enroll in Medicare medical, prescription drug, vision, and dental coverage through Via Benefits, or, alternatively, through Entertainment Health Insurance Solutions (EHIS) in the Western region or the Artists Health Insurance Resource Center (AHIRC) in the Eastern region.

After your first year, you may keep your existing coverage or choose to work with any licensed Medicare agent. Regardless of where you enroll, Via Benefits will continue to administer your HRA and process eligible reimbursements.
